Red Cross Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid
Red Cross Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid

Emergencies involving infants and children require different techniques than adult response — different compression depth, different rescue breathing, different choking interventions. This American Red Cross certified course covers all of it, designed for anyone who regularly cares for or is responsible for young children.
Course content covers:
- Infant and child CPR — compressions and rescue breathing with age-appropriate technique
- AED use with pediatric patients
- Infant and child choking response
- Recognizing and responding to pediatric emergencies — febrile seizures, severe allergic reaction, poisoning
- Wound care, burns, and bleeding control in children
- Scene safety and coordinating with EMS
Certification: Students who complete the course receive an American Red Cross Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid certification, valid for two years.
Who this is for: Parents, grandparents, babysitters, nannies, teachers, coaches, daycare workers, and anyone else whose daily life involves responsibility for infants or children.
Note: Combined Adult & Pediatric courses are also available for those who want comprehensive certification covering all age groups in a single session. Contact us to inquire.
Scheduling & Registration: Classes are booked through our USCCA instructor portal, where you can also view upcoming dates, pricing, and verified student reviews. The portal will open in a new window so you won't lose your place on this site.
